I Pray For That Mother

For the one who was hurt, I pray for that mother.

For the one hurting others, I pray for that mother.

For the one speaking hate, I pray for that mother.

For the one marching for peace, I pray for that mother.

For the one who is looting, I pray for that mother.

For the one cleaning up, I pray for that mother.

For the one fighting others, I pray for that mother.

For the one fighting for change, I pray for that mother.

For the one being bullied, I pray for that mother.

For the one who is the bully, I pray for that mother.

For the one on the frontlines, I pray for that mother.

For the one who is scared, I pray for that mother.

For the one living in darkness, I pray for that mother.

For the one spreading light, I pray for that mother.

Everything, everything, begins and ends with us. We are love. We give love. We teach love. We raise love. We share love. And then we send that love out into the world to do it all over again. Now, more than ever, this world needs its mother. May we rise up. And, because of that, so may they.
